How to make coconut bonbons
Il coconut can really give us many surprises in the kitchen. With just one dough we can make many types of bonbons: just add a cup of coffee or 50g of bitter cocoa or drops of chocolate To enjoy different flavors. Or we can change the praline coating: instead of covering the bonbons with coconut flour, we can use crumbled dried fruit or grated chocolate.
Ingredients
- 250 g cheese
- 50 grams of sugar
- 80 g butter
- 300g of crumbled biscuits mixed with cereals
- 150 g of coconut flour
- 100 g of coconut flour
Preparation
- Crumble the biscuits well passing them through the mixer.
- MixIn a bowl, combine the sugar, coconut flour, and crushed biscuits. Add the ricotta and softened butter.
- Using a teaspoon, form little balls. and roll them in coconut flour. If you prefer a different praline coating, use cocoa, grated chocolate, or other nut flour.
- Arrange the balls on a serving plate and keep them in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
How to make vegan coconut bonbons
Let us now the second recipe, a real delicacy and also ideal as a gift idea or as a delicious dessert for the celebration of birthday some children.
Ingredients
(for about 40 sweets)
- 150 gr semolina
- ½ l of rice milk
- 60 gr of brown sugar
- 2 cardamom pods
- 50 g of raisins
- 50 g of chopped almonds
Preparation
- Soak the raisins in a cup of warm water for about 15 minutes.
- Pour the rice milk in a pot, add the brown sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and slowly add the semolina and the cardamom seeds (open the capsule containing them and remove the seeds with the tip of a knife). Whisk until the mixture thickens (about 10 minutes), then, just before turning off the heat, stir in the almonds, drained raisins, and 2/3 of the grated coconut, until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Let it cool for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally with a spoon to facilitate cooling.
