The best summer diet

A light diet, with plenty of water, fruit, and vegetables. Without making any major sacrifices.

It's not a must, nor a good idea, to turn your summer vacation into a long feast of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And there's no need to sacrifice: in summer, you can eat a lot and well, without overdoing it and without finding yourself needing a lot of food. diet Very restrictive post-holiday.   • Light food, rich in water, vitamins and mineral salts.
  • Fruits and vegetables seasonal (such as watermelon, melon and cucumbers).

In the summer the breakfast becomes the most important meal of the day. Particularly recommended to cope with the summer heat, the yogurt natural and the fresh fruit of the season, perhaps accompanied by a handful of nuts and cereals

If you need a more restrictive diet in the summer , you can follow this calendar:

  • Lunch: Farro salad with tomatoes, courgettes, tuna or legumes and extra virgin olive oil.
  • Snack: fresh fruit and, if you like, yogurt.
  • Price: fish or chicken, grilled vegetables and potatoes/whole wheat bread.
  • Drinks: especially water; limit alcohol and very sugary drinks.
  • Whim: Even ice cream can occasionally come back in, without having to throw it away.
