Boilers

  • Installation of biomass heat generators with advanced thermoregulation systems.
  • Distribution networks and control devices.

Maximum deductions:

  • 50% for the main residence (up to €30.000).
  • 36% for other homes.

Eligible expenses also include construction work and professional services related to the interventions.

Renovation bonus for boilers

In this case, a 50% deduction is foreseen (up to a maximum of €96.000 per real estate unit), divided into 10 annual installments, for the replacement of condensing boilers, with or without advanced thermoregulation, provided that they are at least class A.

Requirements:

  • Extraordinary maintenance interventions.
  • Irpef taxpayers, both resident and non-resident, can access the relief.

Super bonus for boilers

For interventions driving the Superbonus, the deduction drops from 70% in 2024 to 65% in 2025It applies only to work started by October 15, 2024, on multi-family buildings, condominiums, and other specific categories.

Interventions included:

  • Replacement of winter air conditioning systems in common areas.
  • Installation of hybrid systems (heat pump + condensing boiler).

Thermal 2.0 Count

The Thermal Account offers non-repayable grants of up to 65% for interventions that improve energy efficiency.

Incentivised interventions:

  • Replacing boilers with condensing models or heat pumps.
  • Installation of solar thermal collectors and hybrid systems.
  • Replacing electric water heaters with heat pumps.

Beneficiaries:
Private individuals, businesses, and public administrations can access the grant, with simplified procedures for devices included in the GSE catalog.

The change for 2025 also applies to women with VAT numbers.

Amounts vary based on the ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator).

Mobile bonuses

This tax credit allows those who undertake building renovations to obtain a 50% tax deduction on the cost of purchasing new furniture and/or large appliances of a class no lower than Class A for ovens, Class E for washing machines, washer-dryers, and dishwashers, and Class F for refrigerators and freezers. The bonus limit was reduced to €5.000 for 2024 and was confirmed in the same way in 2025.
