Ingredients and preparation

  • 1–2 teaspoons dried linden flowers
  • 1 cup boiling water (about 200 ml)
  • Leave to infuse 10–15 minutes

  • Prepare a more concentrated infusion (3–4 tablespoons in a litre of water)

Controindicazioni

Linden may have a slight effect hypotensive (lowers blood pressure)

May increase drowsiness if combined with:

  • sleeping pills
  • anxiolytics
  • sedatives

Very frequent and prolonged consumption can cause:

  • excessive sedation
  • slight drop in blood pressure
  • headache or weakness in susceptible individuals
