Planters and vases
Old, obsolete pans can easily be transformed into beautiful planters or even unique pots for plants and flowers. Decorate them as you wish or use them as they are—in steel, cast iron, or copper—for a striking visual effect. The key is to drill a few drainage holes in the bottom of the pot, add soil and gravel, and choose suitable plants for this container, such as all types of aromatic herbs.

If you have one of those large pots and pans that were once used—the very tall ones, to be precise—you can transform it into a stool. Simply turn it upside down and weld on some metal legs. Your stool will then be ready to adorn any room in your home. Perhaps with a nice vintage-style cushion on top.

You can make a mirror out of an old pan: find one the size of the pan and glue it to the inside surface. If the pan doesn't have a handle, you can take two hooks and attach them to either end of the pan. You could also use an old belt you no longer use—passing it between the hooks—to hang your new mirror on the wall.

If you have a worn or scratched pan in your kitchen, don't worry; you can transform it into a unique wall clock. Paint it your favorite color (to hide any imperfections caused by wear) and then attach some number stickers to the outside of the pan, marking the hours. Using a small drill bit, make a hole in the center where you'll place the hands. Attach the mechanism to the inside of the pan, and you're done.
