The world's most efficient self-driving car is being built in Parma by the Vislab consortium.

BRAIVE VISLAB –

The world's best robot car is made in Italy . It's a project developed at the University of Parma by a team led by Professor Alberto Broggi: the model is called Braive and, after a long courtship, it ended up in the hands of an American fund that invests in high-tech companies.

BRAIVE ROBOT CAR –

The car patented in Italy by the Vislab consortium requires no driver and can proceed in complete safety without any commands. It recognizes traffic lights and pedestrian crossings . It can maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front and the one following. Thanks to a highly sophisticated technological system, it complies with all provisions of the Highway Code.

THE BRAIVE MADE IN ITALY CAR –

As we mentioned, Braive quickly became the target of American investors, and California-based company Ambarella managed to secure it for $30 million. At this point, the race for the self-driving car market is on: and for once, Italy is leading the way, with a model built in Italy.
