How to organize your children's beach bag

When you go to the beach with your kids, do you also fill your bag with so many things, some of which are often unnecessary, that it feels like you're carrying a suitcase rather than a beach bag ? To prepare for any eventuality, especially if the children are very young, we tend to bring everything with us, even the unnecessary.

Sunscreen

Choose one formulated with natural ingredients, offering a very high level of protection and water resistance. Remember that little ones' skin is very delicate, so apply sunscreen even when the sun is overcast.

Hat or bandana

Always cover your child 's head with a wide-brimmed hat or visor, especially when playing in the sun. Alternatively, choose a bandana: you can even find ones with images of children's beloved cartoon characters; they won't be fussy about wearing them.

Sun glasses

At any age, it is a good idea for girls and boys to use sunglasses during the summer to protect their eyes, especially on the beach with the reflections of the sea and sand.

Bathrobe

As an alternative to a bathrobe, opt for a small towel so you can wrap your baby in it when he or she comes out of the water. Don't forget to pack a change of swimsuit in your bag. If your baby is very young, also include diapers and wipes.

Sandals

They are essential especially when the sand is too hot or if there are too many stones on the beach.

Water and snack

It's a good idea for children to drink plenty of water and have a healthy snack after bathing.

Game bag

In addition to armbands and a life jacket, don't forget to bring a shovel, bucket, lots of cookie cutters, a watering can, and an inflatable pool.

Cotton or linen cloth

It often happens that children want to take a nap, and it's a good idea to bring along a linen or cotton sheet so they can rest on the cot or stroller, keeping it cool, dry, and clean.

Wet clothes bag

A waterproof bag to store wet swimsuits and bring them home if they haven't dried in the sun is also essential for separating the clothes that need washing from the ones that are still clean. If the little ones are still wearing diapers, also provide a bag to put the dirty clothes in while you wait to dispose of them in the appropriate waste bin.
