VEGAN STRAWBERRY TART RECIPE
The recipe for vegan strawberry tart, without milk, eggs and butter is also perfect for those who are lactose intolerant and its derivatives and eggs. Let's see how it's prepared together:
INGREDIENTS (for the shortcrust pastry)
- 300 gr flour
- 60 grams of sugar
- Half a sachet of yeast
- 120 ml of almond milk (or oats which are sweet and delicate)
- 70 ml of extra virgin olive oil
INGREDIENTS (for the vegan custard)
- 500 g of strawberries
- 500 ml of vanilla plant-based milk
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- The grated zest of one lemon
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
Preparation
- Join the flour Combine the oil, sugar, milk, and yeast, and begin kneading everything together. Let the dough rest for at least half an hour, then, using a rolling pin, roll out the dough and place it in a low-sided tart pan.
- Cook in the oven for at least 20 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees and, in the meantime, dedicate yourself to preparing the custard vegan.
- Take a small saucepan and, stirring with a wooden spoon to avoid lumps, combine together the flour, sugar, lemon and ginger and the vegetable milk vanilla. Turn the heat on low and continue stirring until the cream thickens. Let it cool and then spread it over the shortcrust pastry base.
