VEGAN PIZZA RECIPE
Making a pizza at home vegan It's quick and easy; the important thing is to follow a few tips and let your imagination run wild, following your tastes. Here's the recipe for two pizzas:
Ingredients
- 250 grams of durum wheat semolina flour
- 1/2 (about 100 grams) cup bell peppers, green, orange, and red, diced
- 1/3 cup (30 grams) filled with chopped red onion
- 1/3 cup (30 grams) chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 cup (about 120 grams) vegan parmesan cheese
- a pinch of salt, according to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon basil, oregano, and garlic powder or fresh
- 400 grams of tomato puree, preferably organic
Preparation
- Turn on the oven and wait for it to reach a temperature of 220 degrees
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add a tablespoon of olive oil and cook. onions and peppers. Season with salt and herbs and mix well. Cook for 10–15 minutes until the mixture is soft and lightly golden. Add the mushrooms in the last few minutes of cooking. Once ready, remove from the heat.
- To prepare the salsa To season the pizza, put the tomato puree in a bowl and add seasonings and salt to taste.
- After preparing the pizza dough, roll it out on a floured surface and then place it on a round baking tray (use baking paper to help detach the pizza from the tray after cooking).
- Season the pizza with the passata, the tomato sauce vegetables and a generous sprinkling of vegan parmesan.
- Bake for 17-20 minutes. A good way to tell if the pizza is done is to wait until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and season with the remaining parmesan and a sprinkling of Origan.
