Picnic tablecloths: here are the ones created by students at a Ravenna high school using recycled materials.

The pin made from an old clothesline and the curious and eco-sustainable DIY tablecloths made by students from some classes at the Nervi-Severini high school in Ravenna by recovering old materials such as CDs, umbrella fabric, and packaging.

DIY PICNIC TABLECLOTH –

To convey to young people the importance of recycling and the recovery of materials is important: to reduce the amount of waste and safeguard the environment we live in. This is why today we present to you the project carried out by Nervi-Severini Art High School in Ravenna, and in particular from classes 1A, 3B, and 5B in the 2014/2015 academic year.

CREATIVE RECYCLING: THE PICNIC TABLECLOTH –

The students, under the guidance of the Painting teacher, recovered old CDs, umbrellas, potato mesh bags, tobacco packet paper, packaging, paper from newspaper and other materials, and transformed them into many creative eco-sustainable picnic tablecloths.

DIY PIN WITH CREATIVE RECYCLING –

Another high school student, Lorenzo D'altri, starting from the recovery of the aluminum rods of a broken and no longer reusable clothes horse, he created a pin (Vortex) that can be used to define a hairstyle, as a decorative element for a flower arrangement, as a knitting needle or as a support for small plants and much more.
