Il Tiber It's become a graveyard of dead fish. The phenomenon repeats itself every year, with greater intensity during the summer, and there are countless explanations. For the moment the only certain cause, also evaluated by ARPA, is linked to the fact that fish ingest the chemicals contained in pesticides. Those are used in the Lazio countryside and are also carried by rain and currents. The other explanation is the lack of oxygen, always linked to pollution. Finally, no one is able to answer the most disturbing question: Where do the fish Tiber dead and how are they disposed of?
