The data on how much the tax is in different parts of Italy have been collected within a report Conducted by the Prices and Rates Observatory of the non-profit organization Cittadinanzattiva. The survey considers the costs incurred by a typical family of three with a 100-square-meter home for waste disposal in all provincial capitals. The result is that the national average is 300 euros, with a peak, among the provincial capitals, of 504 euros in Catania and a minimum of 121 euros in Potenza.

WASTE TAX FOR THE MOST EXPENSIVE REGIONS

At the level of geographical areas, waste costs less in the North (on average 258 euros). Next comes the Center (299 euros), and finally the South, the most expensive (351 euros). The 10 most expensive cities As for waste tax, in order, they are: Catania (504 euros), Cagliari (490), Trapani (475), Benevento (471), Salerno (467), Naples (455), Reggio Calabria (443), Syracuse (442), Agrigento (425) and Messina (419). All in the South. Among the 10 cheapest, the only ones below the Po are: Potenza (121 euros), Vibo Valentia (184) and Isernia (185).
