SUGAR-FREE CAKE RECIPE
Simple to prepare and with the honey Instead of sugar, this cake, enriched with chocolate, orange, and cinnamon, is ideal for a healthy breakfast rich in flavor and taste. Soft and fragrant, it is also perfect for snack at school children and to accompany a cup of tea in the afternoon.

SUGAR-FREE CAKE RECIPE WITH HONEY
This cake is very versatile and simple: to make it even tastier, add also nuts to the dough.
Ingredients
- 300 grams of flour
- 120ml of honey
- 3 eggs
- 120 g butter
- 60g dark chocolate chips
- 1 orange (zest and juice)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1 sachet of baking powder
Preparation
- Wash and dry theorange, peel it, taking care to remove the peel without the white part.
- Place the peel in a food processor and blend it to a powder. Peel the orange and squeeze the juice into a glass.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C, beat the eggs until frothy, add the soft butter and continue mixing.
- Now it's time for the orange juice, which you'll need to incorporate into the mixture.
- At this point you can mix in the honey, making sure to obtain a smooth, homogeneous mixture without lumps.
- Pour the flour, the yeast, the cinnamon and the orange peel powder and mix thoroughly. Finally, fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Line a baking pan with baking paper, pour in the mixture and bake at 180° for 45 minutes.
- Check that the cake is cooked through using a toothpick: insert it into the cake, if it comes out dry and clean you can let it cool, otherwise continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
