Marco is 22 years old, suffers from autism, and for a long time felt that the world of work was a difficult environment. The new situations, the contact with many people, and the unpredictable pace challenged him, even though he had great precision, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.

When she began her journey with SpritzAut, the bar became a space where she could gradually experiment with new ways of working independently. At first, she was primarily responsible for preparing the equipment, setting up the bar, and learning the procedures. Over time, she gained confidence: she learned how to prepare aperitifs, organize the service, and above all, interact with customers.

SpritzAut is a social inclusion project, born in Formia, which uses a mobile bar To offer young people on the autism spectrum concrete opportunities for training, employment, and independence through reception activities and aperitif preparation.

The name plays on the union between “Spritz” (the Italian aperitif) and “Aut” (Reference to autism). The initiative was promoted by Liberautismo APS and was conceived as a practical workshop: participants learned bartending skills, service management, customer relations, and event organization.

The goal is not just to teach a trade, but to create opportunities for participation and visibility, showcasing the abilities of neurodivergent people and promoting encounters between communities and autistic people. On this place you can follow his activities.
