Banana soup with spices

Vegetable, very light, ideal for not wasting overripe bananas.

How to make banana soup

An original idea with a slightly exotic flavour to recover the overripe bananas is this unusual soup of banane, to be prepared with a few touches, and to be perfected with the spicy scents that we like the most.

Ingredients

  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 2cm piece of ginger.
  • 4 tablespoons of corn oil
  • ½ liter of vegetable broth (or half broth and half milk)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Curry, nutmeg, sweet paprika
  • Roasted pistachios or peanuts

Preparation

  • Peeled Chop the onion, garlic clove, and ginger together very finely. If you like spicy food, you can also add a little chili pepper.
  • Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the chopped vegetables over low heat, being careful not to burn them.
  • Meanwhile, peeled the bananas, cut them into slices and add them to the sauté. Stirred Mix everything together carefully, as the bananas will start to release sugar and will tend to stick to the bottom
  • Let it flavour well, always stirring, and when the bananas start to fall apart, wet with vegetable broth, or half broth and half milk

  • Bring to the boil again and let it simmer cook a few minutes, pressing a little banane with a fork
  • Scented banana soup with your favorite spices: I chose nutmeg, curry and pepper, and finally tasted to adjust the flavors

The banana soup is ready. You can serve it like this, or make it crunchy with some chopped bananas. pistachios or peanuts.
