The cherry blossoms are short, but spectacular: lasts approx 7 10-days, with the best time (full bloom) often lasting only a few days. In Italy, the peak period runs from mid-March to the end of April. But what's so unique and spectacular about this flowering season? The flowers bloom all at once, creating almost unreal landscapes of pink and white clouds. But they last a very short time: all it takes is wind or rain to make them fall. This fleeting nature makes them even more precious.
