Solar in timeshare

The "Timeshare Solar" project, promoted by GASenergia at the Municipality of Castelleone (CR), has now entered its operational phase: last Friday, March 12, in fact, the City Council unanimously approved the resolution relating to the project for the collective photovoltaic system to be built on the "Il Dosso" municipal gym.

Meanwhile, thanks to the widespread support from individual residents who reserved one or more shares of the system, the necessary financial coverage for the project has been largely achieved: 64 residents signed up for a total of 369 shares, well above all expectations. It was therefore necessary to locate a second gym to accommodate all the planned photovoltaic modules.

In addition to the residents of the municipality, numerous people from the Lombardy GAS and other regions associated with GASenergia also participate in the project.

The working group, formed by seeking the necessary skills and expertise and thanks to the crucial contribution of the GASenergia association, is now working on the executive phases of the project's completion.

A key day in this journey will be April 25th, when the company "Dosso Energia" will be formally established by notarial deed in the presence of its 64 members.

The future members, who will finance and manage the photovoltaic system, will receive a proportional share of the economic flow generated by the energy produced thanks to the incentives provided by the Conto Energia (Energy Bill), and will thus collectively and jointly produce electricity from renewable sources.

It is the first experience of its kind in Italy and the only one to have found the solution of a citizen-owned company.
