Espresso
I coffee grounds They're perfect for making a body scrub. Add a pinch of table salt and a tablespoon of olive oil: you'll see the results. This is the simplest and most effective recipe:
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds
- 1–2 tablespoons coconut or olive oil
- A few drops of vanilla or orange essential oil (optional)
Use
Massage in circular motions onto damp skin for 2–3 minutes, then rinse: coffee stimulates microcirculation and can help improve the appearance of the skin.
Honey with sugar and olive oil
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons granulated or brown sugar
- 2 spoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or sweet almond oil
Use
Apply to slightly damp skin, massage gently, and rinse: honey is hydrating and has soothing properties, perfect if you have particularly sensitive skin.
Sea salt and lemon
An ideal scrub for normal or slightly dry skin, but not recommended for sensitive skin.
Ingredients
- 2–3 tablespoons fine sea salt
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 2 spoons of olive oil
Use
Massage using circular motions, avoiding irritated or very sensitive areas, and then rinse well.
Banana and oats
A scrub suitable for dry or delicate skin
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 2 tablespoons finely ground oat flakes
- 1 tablespoon of natural yogurt (optional)
Use
Apply it as an exfoliating mask, leave it on for a few minutes and rinse: oatmeal is gentle and soothing, excellent if your skin is easily irritated.
Apple and brown sugar
Ingredients
- Half an organic apple (coarsely grated or blended, with the pulp)
- 2 spoons of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (sweet almond, olive, or coconut)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Preparation
- Grate or blend the apple until you obtain a soft pulp.
- Add brown sugar.
- Add the oil (and honey if you want more nourishment).
- Mix well: it should be moist but not liquid.
Use
- Apply it on the moist skin in the shower
- Massage with gentle circular motions for 1–2 minutes
- Focus on elbows, knees and heels
- Rinse with warm water
The apple contains natural acids and antioxidants which help make the skin brighter and fresher.
Aloe vera
The aloe vera scrub makes the skin smooth, fresh and very soft.
Ingredients
- 2 spoons of pure aloe vera gel
- 2 spoons of sugar (white for sensitive skin, cane for a more decisive effect)
- sweet almond oil or jojoba
Preparation
Mix everything until you obtain a grainy and smooth cream.
Use
- Apply to the skin humid
- Massage very gently for 1-2 minutes
- Rinse with warm water
