The association Domus Oristano It managed the city's public dormitory for six years, and then launched the No Spreco Or project to recover surplus food. When the pandemic reached its critical stage in 2020, the Domus Oristano Association worked with the Reuse Center to create single-seater desks to distribute to local schools using recycled materials. "Given the current emergency and the difficulties all schools faced in adapting to the new conditions for in-person learning, we tried to make ourselves useful by offering our experience and expertise to the community," explains Gigi Piredda, president of the Domus Oristano Association. The results were excellent: thousands of desks were delivered, and a chain of waste was averted.
