As a child, she sewed Barbie dresses from her mother's scraps of fabric. Then Sara Poiese, from Vicenza, began studying and working, but not in the fashion industry , thus giving up her youthful passion.

Now Sara , after leaving a permanent job, has a real online tailoring shop, where she showcases her products for children, women, and men . And, always combining the ancient artisan craft with the most modern technology, Sara has also become a fashion blogger, with a blog, Maison-shabby-chic.com , where she presents patterns and lessons with tutorials. From sewing a cushion to making a coat or a tablecloth.

Each lesson comes with a pattern in five sizes that can be ordered online to make the product. And every week, a new tailoring tutorial appears on her blog.
