Ingredients

  • 300 g butter
  • 250 grams of powdered sugar
  • 240g of eggs approximately 5
  • 40 g of egg yolks
  • 60 g of egg whites
  • 100 grams of cocoa powder
  • 450 gr of almond flour
  • 30 g of sliced ​​almonds
  • 75 grams of sugar

Preparation

  • Using an electric mixer, whip 280g of butter with 220g of powdered sugar. Beat the eggs together with the yolks and slowly pour them into the whipped butter.
  • Using a spatula, incorporate the bitter cocoa, almond flour, and sugar into the mixture, mixing well from top to bottom so as not to deflate it. Finally, add the whites whipped into meringues.
  • Arrange the sliced ​​almonds on the bottom of a previously buttered cake pan and fill it with the mixture up to three-quarters full.
  • Bake the cake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes and when ready to serve, sprinkle with icing sugar.
