Olive Pâté: The 15-Minute Recipe

OLIVE Pâté RECIPE

Black or green: the olive pâté It can be made with both. And in any case, in just a quarter of an hour you will have a dish ready to serve as an aperitif, with the bruschetta and crostini, or a tasty pasta sauce. Homemade olive pâté can be kept in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Ingredients

  • 300g pitted black or green olives
  • 100 ml of extra virgin olive oil
  • Half a clove of garlic
  • Salt (to taste)

Preparation

  • After rinsing the olives well, cut them into small pieces and place everything in the mixer also adding the garlic and a pinch of salt.
  • Gradually pour in theolive oil: the olive sauce is ready when the mixture becomes creamy.
  • Pour the resulting mixture into a glass jar with a lid and ensure the jar is always covered with a layer of oil. Store in the refrigerator for about two weeks.

An advice

According to your tastes, personalize and enrich your homemade olive sauce by adding a pinch of Chili pepper, from the tuna or anchovies.
