COD WITH ONIONS RECIPE
The rich and fatty pulp of the black cod and onions Sweet, browned, and golden: a unique combination for a very special dish that celebrates wastelessness, the simplest cuisine, and old traditions. A dish, among other things, which manages to combine the benefits of cod (low calories, and lots of Omega 3 fatty acids) with those of the onions (for example, they are good for the heart and bones, and purify the body).

FRIED COD WITH ONIONS RECIPE
The recipe we present to you comes from the ancient, healthy and popular Norwegian cuisine, where black cod with caramelized onions is considered a real specialty (with the name Seibiff med lank), and is taken from a book that we recommend to anyone interested in Nordic menus, Nordic Cuisine by Magnus Nilsson (L'ippocampo Editions)
Ingredients
(For 4 people)
- 1 serving of sweet fried onions
- 1 x 600g black cod fillet, 4 pieces
- Extra virgin olive oil, for frying
- Salt and white pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Fry the fillets in a pan, respecting the necessary cooking times.
- Finish by placing a piece of fish on each plate.
- Cover the dish with sweet, golden onions, slowly cooked to the right level of caramelization.
