How to make a tart with ripe fruit
Fruit is one of the foods we waste the most, summer and winter alike. With this simple recipe, you can use any overripe fruit (here we've included strawberries and oranges) for a fantastic tart!
Ingredients
- flour di farro
- corn oil
- oranges very mature
- strawberries very mature
- 1 teaspoon of zest Lemon; grated
- 1 egg
- sugar
Preparation
- Wash and peel the ripe pears and clean the strawberries.
- Cut all the fruit and place it in a non-stick saucepan, then add a couple of tablespoons of water and cook the fruit, stirring occasionally.
- Let it cook until you get the consistency of a jam.
- Prepare the shortcrust pastry without butter: work the egg with the oil and the flour.
- Work the ingredients until you obtain a classic ball of dough, then roll out a portion of it in a non-stick pan, cover with the freshly prepared jam and decorate with a few strips of dough.
- Cook in a hot oven at 180°C for approximately 40 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on a rack.
