From these three elements, "Quasi Casa" was born in Genoa, a meeting, reception, and refreshment center not only for those in need, but also for anyone seeking a place to work, study, or spend time together.
lThe “Almost Home” project in Genoa It is a socio-community initiative just inaugurated in historic center of Genoa (Piazza San Matteo), conceived as an open, inclusive, and relational space for all citizens. A plan, curated and implemented by Young Caritas, to address visible and invisible loneliness, through youthful presences and accessible services for vulnerable people. It also provides a space open to the city, with cultural and social activities developed in collaboration with the local community. The opening is planned. Monday to Friday to free study and work stations, social and cultural activities; Sunday afternoons are dedicated to initiatives for the homeless.
