PROTESTS STOP US IMMIGRATION –
If there is one thing that Donald Trump has so far achieved with his turnaround in American immigration policy is a sort of international national unanimity against his decision to suspend entry into the United States of citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries (Syria, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen)The UN and the European Union, the powerful attorneys general of 16 American states, and the all-powerful heads of the Foreign Ministry protested. The Silicon Valley billionaires, as well as countless associations that defend American citizenship, also revolted against the newly elected American president.

PROTESTS AGAINST TRUMP –
The objections to Trump's demagogic crackdown on immigration are varied and primarily concern the heart of American history and its epic story. Let me put it this way: Without immigration there would be no United States as we know it today: a solid, rich, powerful nation capable of providing opportunities to all. It's no coincidence that a series of messages signed to Trump have come from Silicon Valley, reminding us how these global empires, not only of the economy but of lifestyles in general, were created. Steve Jobs' father, to name just a few examples, the brilliant founder of Apple, was Syrian. Sergey Brin, the creator of Google, is a refugee, like the grandparents of Mark Zuckerberg, arriving from Germany, Austria, and Poland, which were overrun by Nazism. Here too, I'll try to sum it up in one word: the entire digital economy, which has revolutionized the lives of citizens around the world, would not exist without the vital impetus provided by the long wave of American immigration and acceptance.
Third objection not to be underestimated among the many that have been made to Trump: he wrote a list of countries, the terrible 7, predominantly Muslim and somehow implicated in the gray area of recruitment and support for Islamic terrorism. It is a pity, however, that this list lacks an excellent accused country, Saudi Arabia, which has always been indicated as the number one financier of terrorism that bloodies the planet and not only the United States.. Here, more than doubt, certainty arises: the American president He didn't want to disturb a very dangerous country, but also very useful for the business of American tycoons and industrialists (especially in the oil sector), which is Trump's universe of reference. A real clever move., even very cynical.

PROTESTS AGAINST TRUMP'S IMMIGRATION DECREE –
Having summarised all the criticisms, since I am always wary of unanimous choruses, I must add two points that make us reflect on the politics ofimmigration of Trump. Nobody likes it, according to the comments, but it convinces 51 percent of Americans, according to polls conducted in "real time"." So be careful not to underestimate the "social unrest" that is so acutely felt in America, to the point of being decisive in Trump's victory, among the lower and middle classes, not among the ruling classes who are increasingly distant from society. We risk making the same mistake of underestimating the popular support that brought Trump to the White House.
PROTESTS AGAINST TRUMP'S IMMIGRATION DECREE –
Coming, finally, from America to our home, it must be said that Raising walls, blocking immigration from entire countries, fomenting hatred and divisions, are all mistakes and wastes in the management of a phenomenon that no one will ever be able to truly stop. But it is equally true that all Western countries, without exception, are tired of uncontrolled immigration and the constant openings that, in the midst of chaos, open up for terrorists. Therefore, some rules are useful and need to be reiteratedAs, for example, Italian Minister Marco Minniti is claiming (so far these are just words, but we'll see the facts later) when he promises to "remove those who don't respect the rules," to expel illegal immigrants (in 2016 only one in two were repatriated), and to speed up as much as possible the procedures for granting or denying refugee status to those who submit this request (currently it takes months and even years). Immigration cannot be managed with Trump's rules (and in Italy almost 30 percent of municipalities provide reception), but it cannot be entrusted to improvisation, demagogy and the inability to combine human rights and the security of peoples.
