PEDAL SCHOOL BUS

It all started in France. Thanks to a young university student, Amaury Piquiot, who launched the project of Pedal-powered school bus Thanks to a crowdfunding campaign, the children are picked up from their homes and taken to school with this very particular means of transport, a real pedal bus, which creates and recalls a joyful, amusement park atmosphere.

The pedal-powered school bus has thus become a new model of mobility for young students and their families in several French municipalities, such as Rouen and Louviers, where it is even free thanks to an investment by the municipal administration. Thus, in Malmö, Sweden, the school bus service is offered to all families who have children who attend nursery school.
