Bella Mossa!, a program in Bologna that rewards those who move around the city on foot or by bike.

GOOD MOVE BOLOGNA –

Just a few months ago, we told you about the exciting initiative promoted by the City of Bari to reward those who choose to cycle around the city instead of driving with discounts at cinemas and shops, as well as paycheck bonuses. This important project aims to reduce city traffic and pollution levels. A similar initiative had already been launched in the municipality of Massarosa , Tuscany, where 50 citizens selected through a special public tender receive 25 cents for every kilometer traveled on two wheels.

But not just Bari and Massarosa: in Bologna too, the “ Bella mossa ! ” program kicks off on April 1st to reward with prizes, discounts and shopping vouchers all citizens who choose to travel sustainably, on foot, by bike or by bus , leaving their car and motorbike in the garage.

GOOD MOVE PROGRAM BOLOGNA –

" Those who move well are rewarded. Resole your shoes, hop on your bike, take the bus, hop on the train, share your car ": this is the slogan of the project promoted by SRM – Reti e Mobilità, the agency of the Municipality and the Metropolitan City of Bologna for mobility and local public transport.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BELLA MOSSA PROGRAM –

Every citizen can choose whether to participate in the program individually or as a team member of their company . Simply download the free "Betterpoints" app, sign up for the program, indicate the eco-friendly vehicle you use, and start accumulating points over the six months from April to September. GPS will certify the kilometers traveled, and depending on the threshold reached, you will be rewarded with shopping vouchers and discounts at participating stores.

GOOD MOVE AWARDS –

The companies that rank at the top of the list at the end of the six months will win collective prizes, including vouchers for their most virtuous employees. All the most sustainable participants will also be entered into the final drawing, where a variety of super prizes will be awarded, including an electric bicycle , three travel vouchers, and three vouchers for high-tech purchases.
