Poor nutrition, exposure to different atmospheric conditions, excessive washing, smoke: these are some of the causes that can make the dry and chapped facial skin.
A climate that is too cold or, on the contrary, too hot can in fact make our skin dull and not very luminous, a problem that can also occur if we use aggressive products for daily cleansing or if we consume excessive amounts of coffee and alcohol, which alter the skin's structure, resulting in dryness and chapping. Instead of immediately succumbing to the cosmetics industry's marketing hype, start with some simple natural remedies. Like drinking plenty of water (the famous eight glasses a day), or green tea and dandelion herbal teas. And periodically using homemade face masks and scrubs.
If it is not a problem that requires a medical consultation but a temporary discomfort, you can try to solve it with natural remedies which nourish and hydrate dry and chapped skin, allowing it to regain its natural radiance.
