SAVERIO MAGGIO'S TIME GAPS –

Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in painting, teacher and stylist, through the project “Time gaps", Saverio recovers these materials that would otherwise end up thrown away and therefore wasted and reuses them to make clothes, curious and original creations whose aim is also to give a new value to these objects, making them noble.

The project aims to elevate various recycled materials to the rank of precious objects, assigning them to a use completely different from their original one.

THE CREATIONS OF SAVERIO MAGGIO –

The different models are inspired by clothes from the past: from the medieval tunic inspired by Byzantine mosaics, to the “Andrienne” model of the 18th century princesses, from the Empire style, to the model from the film “The Leopard” up to the 1950s and the wonderful “contemporary” dresses that seem to have just been created for the modern Paris fashion shows.
