How to make bread and milk cake

Ingredients

  • 350 gr stale bread
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 100 g of raisins
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 ml of sunflower seed oil
  • 30 grams of flour
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 30 g of dried fruit

Preparation

  • Cut the bread into cubes, heat the milk in a saucepan and then pour in the bread cubes.
  • Soak the raisins in a glass full of water.
  • Beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes fluffy and light, then add the flour, cinnamon, and seed oil. Mix well.
  • When the bread has softened and the milk will be cold, add them to the mixture and continue mixing with the help of an electric whisk or food processor.

  • Decorate with the nuts and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about an hour.
