TLON BOOKSTORE ROME

It all started in 2014 when Maura gancitano e Andrea Colamedici, both philosophers and writers, and Nicola Bonimelli, actor, translator and Audible collaborator, created Tlon, a cultural dissemination project, whose name is inspired by the imaginary planet of Jorge Luis Borges in “Ficciones”. In 2016, after founding the Tlon publishing house, in the heart of the Ostiense district of Rome, the Tlon Theatre Bookshop is here, the first true home of the Tlon project, "born from the need to root Tlon's ideals in a physical space," as Maura and Andrea explain on the project's dedicated portal. The initiative also features collaborations with Michael Trionfera, bookseller and translator, and Matteo Trevisani, editor and writer, all united by a passion for philosophy.
