Wood represents a huge waste of a precious material. It's easy to reuse and recycle, yet it often ends up in landfill , while plastic dominates furniture and design. To get an idea of the potential of wood recycling in a home, just look at what Itlas has achieved with its Ecos project. It manages to combine design, research, and sustainability, as is often the case with wooden constructions.
The Ecos project features four collections: Online Industriale, Online, Tecno Smart, and LeRighe Fine-Line. Ecos wood, derived from small scraps, is transformed into boards boasting excellent aesthetic and functional qualities, integrated with a unique technology.
Itlas's product line not only valorizes waste materials and reduces waste (including landfill), but also enhances design and innovation: an approach that encourages consumers and architects to choose sustainable materials.
