Wholemeal donut with yogurt and vanilla

It's ready in an hour and eliminates all the drawbacks of butter. A variation with a few pieces of dark chocolate.

WHOLE WHEAT DONUT RECIPE

For a delicious and original alternative to the chocolate chips you can use raisins, pieces of dried apricots or dates, cooked apples or coffee, and instead of vanilla try ginger and ground cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 175 g of wholemeal spelt flour
  • 75 g of whole raw cane sugar
  • 50 g of starch
  • 2 g of bicarbonate
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 jar of soy yogurt
  • 1 glass of vegetable milk (sprouted rice, or other)
  • 40g extra dark chocolate (min 80% cocoa) in drops or small pieces
  • 1 pinch of turmeric
  • 2 g vanilla powder
  • 3 tablespoons of boiling water

Preparation

  • Work with the whisk yogurt of soy and turmeric. Add the boiling water, and finally the plant-based milk.
  • Add the sugar to the flour a little at a time, vanilla, the starch, the yeast and knead until you obtain a smooth mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a 20 cm diameter cake tin, and finally add the top chocolate chips flour to garnish: cook in a preheated oven (static) at 180° for 35/40 minutes.
