If you are in the habit of making them in house but you are tired of the usual ones, you could give a chance to DIY candles with flowersCertainly original and naturally scented, they're romantic, more elegant than classic ones, and perfect for satisfying discerning friends. They can also be personalized with the addition of a variety of petals.
Necessary
- Soy wax
- Cotton wick for candles
- Dried flowers
- Glass jar or container
- A pencil: we will use this to help the wick set
- A wooden skewer
- Essential oils to taste
Method
Let it melt wax, then add the dried flowers to the glass container. Pour in the wax. Place the wick and add a few drops of essential oil to taste. Secure the wick in the center and let it solidify.

Method
Simply melt the beeswax with a little coconut oil, add ground cinnamon, and a few drops of orange essential oil. Then, pour the mixture into a glass jar, insert the wick, and secure it in the center. Finally, wait for the wax to solidify completely.
With water and oil
Certainly different from the usual are the DIY candles with water and oilIn this case, no wax is required, and all you need is a glass container, water, paper towels, oil, and a wick holder.
- Simply pour water into the bottom of the container, filling it to about halfway up (add a few drops of food coloring to create a nice color contrast, if desired).
- Pour about 1/3 the amount of oil you have compared to the amount of water. Then, roll a piece of paper towel to create a wick.
- Cut a slightly concave circle from a plastic bottle and make a hole in it to fit the base of the wick.
- Gently place it on the oil and let the wick soak in it. Light the flame and voilà! The magic is ready.

- To make them, simply heat the wax in a container in a bain-marie.
- Add a few drops of scented essential oil of your choice and mix well.
- Place the wick in the candle container and secure it in the center.
- Gently pour the scented wax into the container around the wick.
- Let it cool until completely solidified.
- Then, light the candles and enjoy the fragrance that will spread throughout the room.
