It seems impossible to imagine a blind person being able to take photographs, yet Antonella Cappabianca, blind since birth due to a retinal malformation, manages to take incredible shots. Equipped with a unusual perspective, these images give Antonella the opportunity to give shape to the sensations of the moment, immortalizing what is around him. A habit that to an inattentive observer might seem like madness but which, in reality, represents the attempt to reclaim an expressive form that the handicap of blindness He denied her from birth. And to think that the passion for photography It was born almost by chance: "it's thanks to my dog Celia is the guide – Antonella explained to Antonio Giuseppe Malafarina in an interview on Well being – who has always loved having her photo taken, so much so that she would sometimes plant herself in the middle of tourists' photos, creating embarrassing situations. One day she saw a digital camera and started wagging her tail and swiping at the table. To please her, I took a few photos, thinking I could delete them later. And instead, her sister loved those photos tremendously, and from that moment on… he never gave up again to the camera.

HOW TO DEAL WITH BLINDNESS
Antonella Cappabianca lives with her husband Alessandro Forlani, also blind, and with whom she has a four-year-old daughter. The two, as told by Superabile Inail Magazine, they even met at university during the Law faculty courses and since then they have never left each other. When they arrived in the capital, both had to face the difficulties of being non-residents: Antonella came from Latina while Leonardo came from Belo Horizonte, on the other side of theoceano. The municipality is an accomplice disability they first became friends and then slowly a deep bond blossomed love, from which the little one was born Michela, the only Forlani who can see perfectly. Yet before bringing her into the world they were many doubts assailed them: “We asked ourselves if it was right for a child to have two disabled parents and in the end we said that what we could give was more than what we could take away” they explained to Superabile Inail Magazine. A choice that turned out to be extraordinary and that today lights up their lives.

HOW TO DEAL WITH DISABILITIES
