HOMEMADE PANGOCCIOLI RECIPE

HOW TO PREPARE PANGOCCIOLI AT HOME
Making them at home is very easy. You can make them even once a week and store them in the paper used for wrapping. the breadThis way they will stay soft and fluffy for up to five days (if you manage not to eat them all beforehand).
Here's how to prepare pangoccioli at home, in two tasty versions: classic chocolate and filled with chopped pistachios.
Ingredients
- 300 g of manitoba flour
- 200 00 grams of flour
- 300 gr of milk
- 25 g of yeast
- 50 grams of sugar
- 50 g butter
- Chocolate chips (or chopped pistachios or oat flakes)
Preparation
- Heat the milk with the sugar, then place it in a small bowl and let it dissolve yeast.
- In another bowl, sift the flours, soften the butter, and add the milk, sugar, and yeast mixture. Mix until the dough becomes very soft and sticky.
- Let it rise in a warm, covered place for about an hour (even near a radiator or in the oven with the light on).
- After this time, divide the dough into two parts: in one, incorporate the drops of chocolate, in the other the pistachio grains.
- Form many balls the size of a walnut (they rise a lot) and then place them on the baking tray on top of the baking paper.
- Let it rise for 2 hours and then bake at 160° for 20/25 minutes.
