HOME DELIVERY FOR THE ELDERLY IN CAMPOBASSO
This is the laudable initiative of Prondo, a personal services startup designed to address the needs of older populations, those most affected by the axe of isolation and hardship.
Prondo was born in response to the changes in everyone's daily lives during the pandemic, and aims to guarantee home delivery of groceries, basic necessities and over-the-counter medicines at no additional delivery cost for grandparents who request it, covering the city of Campobasso and the surrounding municipalities within 15 km.
In an interview with the portal First number, the founder of the Molise start-up, Luciano Parisi, explains what the initiative involves: "Home delivery of groceries is a service included in the "Prondo?!" pink line, a line of services designed and developed exclusively for the most vulnerable and elderly segments of the population. With this small gesture, we want to contribute to the peace of mind and safety of the most vulnerable during this particular historical moment."

PRODO MOLISE
The start-up Prondo demonstrates its attachment to its local area right from its name: a witty name inspired by a Molise—or rather, Campobasso—pronunciation habit of hardening vowels, for example, turning t's into d's. Founded and conceived by a young Campobasso native who moved to Milan to work in the fashion world as a designer, but never forgetting his roots, Prondo has successfully brought together a team of young Molise residents with close ties to the community, who want to feel like useful resources. to an area where a large percentage of people are over 65 years of age.
He handles deliveries and orders, and in the same interview he confides that he came up with the name Prondo after a phone call with his grandmother. He's visually recognizable by his black sweatshirt with the orange trolley logo, provided free of charge by a local advertising agency, which, like other shopkeepers and residents, has contributed.
