ROOF GARDEN
While a special is under construction in Berlin bicycle-friendly building, equipped with special elevators, large and capacious enough to accommodate even two-wheelers and an enormous terrace that can also be used as a parking lot for bike, in Montpellier, France, a tree-shaped residential building featuring numerous hanging garden balconies will soon be built.

THE TREE-SHAPED SKYSCRAPER IN MONTPELLIER
Un vertical garden, where the arrangement of the different units on one side will ensure the Palazzo the necessary shade and on the other will allow the vegetation to grow and flourish.
The project, selected as part of the competition “La Folie architecturale de Richter”, is the work of the Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto which was inspired by the tradition of the city, of outdoor life and the properties of trees: the aim of construction, for Fujimoto, is to achieve a relationship of fusion with nature.
“ALBERO BIANCO”, MONTPELLIER’S VERTICAL GARDEN WITH HANGING BALCONIES
In particular, the building called “White Tree” and which will be built between the Port Marianne and Odysseum districts, not far from the city centre, will be 56 metres high and will have 120 apartments, spaces reserved for offices, a restaurant, a rooftop bar and an art gallery.
