Suspended toys: a network for donating them throughout Italy.

The project Hanging Toy, promoted by theAssogiocattoli Association, Starting from the ancient Neapolitan custom of offering a free coffee to those who can't afford it when they go to the bar for an espresso, it works by creating a network between merchants, consumers, and families in need.

Anyone who buys a toy in one of the affiliated stores (the complete list can be found on the website www.giocattolosospeso.it) can leave one "on hold" as a gift, or can even purchase an item specifically for the initiative. The toys are stored at various collection centers, then picked up by volunteer organizations that distribute them to families in need.

In the 2025 edition, 54.000 toys were donated and distributed in 304 cities and 479 collection points, present in all Italian regions and also in the Republic of San Marino.
