How to use the gas cylinder

1- Place the cylinder vertically, on a stable, well-ventilated surface.

2- Make sure that the cylinder valve is closed (turned clockwise).

3- Connect the pressure regulator to the cylinder valve:

  • Please enter it correctly.
  • Screw it or lock it according to the type (screw or snap)

4- Connect the gas pipe from the regulator to the cooker or appliance (kitchen, stove, barbecue).

  • Tighten the cable ties well.

Opening and use

A stable, blue flame on a gas stove is a sign of proper combustion.

  • Slowly open the cylinder valve (counterclockwise).
  • Turn on the stove or appliance following the specific instructions.
  • Check that the flame is blue and stable (sign of correct combustion).

After use

  1. Always close the cylinder valve.
  2. Then turn off the appliance (if necessary).
  3. Do not leave the cylinder open unnecessarily.

Safety rules

These are the most important general rules for using cylinders safely. of gas:

  • Use the canister only in ventilated environments.
  • Do not place it near heat sources.
  • Check the tube periodically (expiration and cracks).
  • To check for leaks: use water and soap on the fittings. If it bubbles, it means there's a leak.

If you hear smell of gas:

  • Close the bottle immediately.
  • Open the windows.
  • Do not turn on lights or flames.
  • Contact a technician.
