The Cindy ashtray, which turns cigarette butts into fertilizer

Un ashtray that transforms cigarette butts in fertilizzante for plants, useful to the ecosystem and also beautiful to look at: this eco-invention is called Cindy and was designed by a group of French designers.

Millions of cigarette butts are thrown away every day thrown to the ground along the streets of our cities and sometimes unfortunately even in public parks: a bad habit that leads damage not only to the civic decorum but also and above all to the environment.

To find a solution to this sad spectacle, the group of designers developed this particular ashtray at the base of which there is a small plantThe aim is to make their presence more pleasant in the home or along the streets, giving a touch of extra green especially to the urban environment: here we see an image of the object in all its elegance (image source).

The ashtray is equipped with a special system that collects the ash of the cigarettes and transforms it into fertilizer for the seedling. The ash therefore transforms from harmful waste into a tool that promotes la plant growth.
