The ideal eyebrow shape isn't the same for everyone: it depends primarily on your face shape and natural features. The goal is to harmonize your face, not follow a specific trend.
Here's a simple guide to understanding what best flatters your face shape:
- Round face: eyebrows with high and defined arch: they slim and lengthen the face
- Oval face: eyebrows soft and slightly arched, is the most versatile form
- Square face: eyebrows with marked but not too thin arch, balance the jaw
- Long face: eyebrows straighter and more horizontal, visually shorten the face
- Face to heart: eyebrows delicate and rounded: soften the broad forehead.
Once you have decided on the most suitable eyebrows based on your face shape, follow this universal rule to shape them well:
- Start: line up a pencil from the side of the nose upwards, where the eyebrow should start
- bow: tilt the pencil passing through the center of the eye, and this will be the highest point
- Finish: angled towards the outer corner of the eye, where the eyebrow should end.
To have well-groomed eyebrows, you don't always have to go to the beautician or hairdresser; you can do it at home, saving money and time.
