The ideal eyebrow shape depends on the face

Each face has its own eyebrows. And you can even shape them at home, saving time and money.

The ideal eyebrow shape isn't the same for everyone: it depends primarily on your face shape and natural features. The goal is to harmonize your face, not follow a specific trend.

Here's a simple guide to understanding what best flatters your face shape:

  • Round face: eyebrows with high and defined arch: they slim and lengthen the face
  • Oval face: eyebrows soft and slightly arched, is the most versatile form
  • Square face: eyebrows with marked but not too thin arch, balance the jaw
  • Long face: eyebrows straighter and more horizontal, visually shorten the face
  • Face to heart: eyebrows delicate and rounded: soften the broad forehead.

Once you have decided on the most suitable eyebrows based on your face shape, follow this universal rule to shape them well:

  1. Start: line up a pencil from the side of the nose upwards, where the eyebrow should start
  2. bow: tilt the pencil passing through the center of the eye, and this will be the highest point
  3. Finish: angled towards the outer corner of the eye, where the eyebrow should end.

To have well-groomed eyebrows, you don't always have to go to the beautician or hairdresser; you can do it at home, saving money and time.

With this procedure:

Materials

  • Good quality tweezers
  • Eyebrow brush (or a clean mascara wand)
  • Small scissors (optional)
  • A good light

The steps to take

  1. Comb your eyebrows upwards
So you can see the natural shape well
  2. Define the basic shape
Follow the ones you already have, without changing them too much.
  3. Remove only the stray hairs
    • Concentrate under the arch (not above, at least at first)
    • Remove one hair at a time
  4. Check yourself in the mirror often
Stop every now and then to avoid thinning them too much
  5. Trim long hairs lightly
Only those that stick out too much, without exaggerating
