FOOD SHUTTLE
The project Food Shuttle is a laboratory available to primary and secondary school studentsIn collaboration with the Reggio Children Foundation, the Loris Malaguzzi Centre and the architect Francesco Bombardi, a series of specialists take turns to talk to the children about the seasonality of products, about Proper nutrition and the food chain. The project is highly technologically advanced, and involves the use of tools such as virtual reality headsets, laser and 3D printers, digital microscopes, distillers, essence diffusers, thermoforming machines, and vacuum packing machines.

FOOD EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS
Il Food Shuttle It has the shape of a spaceship that "lands" in school canteens, where a lot of food is wasted also due to poor supplies and bad eating habits of the students, and brings all the technological content with which the kids approach the project. The company, which employs 13 people, operates in 17 Italian regions and in several European countries such as the Netherlands and Belgium. Among the services offered by CIRFOOD, one in particular deserves mention, as it has a particular value in the fight against food wasteThis involves monitoring students' actual consumption, so that the school can order the food it actually needs and not the excess that ends up in the garbage.
