On vacation with all the employees, and with a shared commitment: no mention of work. Ernesto Castiglioni and his wife Patrizia Paganini own a small textile company, Tendaggi Paradiso, in Cassina Rizzardi, in the province of Como, and for several years they have been rewarding their workers by taking them around the world once a year.
ERNESTO AND PATRIZIA TAKE THEIR EMPLOYEES ON VACATION
More than a bonus or a reward, it's a way to improve relationships between the company's owners and their 27 employees, the majority of whom are women. It also aims to improve the well-being of those who are crucial to the company's results. Tendaggi Paradiso workers have traveled to Thailand, Egypt, the Netherlands, and Libya, and their most recent vacation was on the Caribbean island of Santo Domingo. Ernesto is neither a benefactor nor a Franciscan, but as an entrepreneur, he feels a duty to not waste human resources and to care for their quality of life (including their pleasures) even outside the company. Knowing that this will improve results for everyone, he also recognizes the sacrifices his employees make: Ernesto and Patrizia, when they started out, worked their fabrics in a garage, and today they have a turnover of over 10 million euros.
