DESTRUCTION OF NATURAL RESOURCES –
Our natural resources They are not infinite and due to their excessive exploitation and the strong increase in the world population, they may soon no longer be sufficient. This means that We all have a duty to act daily to try to save our planet.How? Even small and simple gestures are enough, such as focusing on energy conservation, avoiding food waste, and reusing still-usable materials.

OVERDEVELOPMENT, OVERPOPULATION, OVERSHOOT –
And to try to raise awareness of the need to protect the environment, the non-governmental organization Pso – Population Speak Out launched the interesting photographic book entitled "Overdevelopment, Overpopulation, Overshoot": significant images that show us some of the greatest social and ecological tragedies we are experiencingStarting with this photo taken in Java, Indonesia, the most populous island in the world, showing a surfer riding the waves of a sea of garbage where you can glimpse all sorts of waste. A horrific sight that has earned the island the nickname Trash Island.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION –
The waters of the Yellow River in Mongolia are so polluted that it is almost impossible to breathe, Bangladesh is increasingly submerged in garbage, Indonesian forests are being destroyed to make way for palm oil plantations Palm oil and the Amazon rainforest razed to the ground for building land.

And in our gallery too the world's largest electronic waste dump, materials that release poisons and toxic fumes into the air when burned, the image of an increasingly populated and rapidly expanding Mexico City (it now has around 20 million inhabitants), the Maldives at risk of disappearing due to global warming and the melting of icebergs in Norway.
Images that cannot help but make us reflect on the need to intervene immediately.
