How to make crème brûlée

Crème brûlée, as we know, comes from the finest French culinary tradition, although it now rightfully belongs on international cuisine menus. In Italian, literally, it means burnt creamThis is the easiest recipe to prepare it.

Ingredients

  • 200 ml of milk
  • 800 ml of fresh cream
  • 9 yolks
  • 180 grams of sugar
  • Vanilla bean
  • sugar of cane

Preparation

  • Bring the cream and milk to the boil with the vanilla pod.
  • Mix the egg yolks with the sugar and add the milk and cream.
  • Pass through a sieve and place into individual portion molds.
  • Bake in a bain-marie in the oven for about 1/2 hour (the time varies depending on the size of the molds).
  • Refrigerate for at least an hour.
  • When ready to serve, sprinkle with brown sugar and caramelize over a flame.
