Creative recycling of fabrics and fabric scraps

It often happens that we have leftovers at home. "Fabrics, or even objects from which it is easy to obtain scraps that would otherwise end up in some waste bin. Thanks to creative recycling, with the leftovers of "Fabrics you can make small accessories (bracelets, necklaces, bags), but also useful objects for domestic use (cushions and curtain tiebacks) or for children (bibs and dresses for the bambole).

Necklace

The idea of the necklace made with a beautiful old t-shirt washed, squeezed and then cut into strips, tied one after the other and secured with a final knot. Or the one obtained by joining a series of pieces of "Fabrics rolled up.

Bracelet

This original bracelet is made by cutting rings from the bottom of a plastic bottle and covering them with scraps of fabric. Versatile and affordable, it can add a unique touch to any look.

Headband

Using a rubber band and some fabric, you can make a truly elegant headband, which can be decorated with rhinestones or beads. It's also useful for very young girls.

Bag

With a large piece of fabric, perhaps left over from sewing a dress, you can create a roomy and colorful bag, suitable for any occasion. But it's also perfect as a shopping bag, avoiding unnecessary costs, sometimes equivalent to a bottle of mineral water, as shown in this video.

Pillow

The fabric pieces make beautiful cushions that adorn sofas or armchairs. You can further embellish them with various embellishments, such as buttons or colored ribbons sewn along the edges.

Curtain stop

With a piece of leftover fabric, create a flower-shaped curtain tieback, which will add color to the room.

Doll dress

If you have the manual skills to make simple dolls, you can then use the pieces of fabric to make them beautiful clothes and embellish them with buttons and various accessories, to the delight of the children.
