Case a 1 euro It's not just a slogan or the title of a political marketing operation by some local administration chasing consensus: it's also, in some cases, an opportunity not to be wasted.
Typically, these types of proposals concern small towns that are at risk of depopulation and need to strengthen their population and local businesses. The formulas for incentivizing purchases vary for each location, but there are usually some standard rules: for example, the obligation to take up residence in the municipality where the purchase is made for 1 euro, to pay for a complete renovation of the house (these properties are often abandoned and in any case not in good condition), and to not sell the house purchased for 1 euro for at least five years.
And let's see, region by region, where you can buy a house in Italy for 1 euro.
