We are talking about grandparents , a source of experience and an added value for every family that, in the name of the times, risks being culpably wasted. To prevent this phenomenon and reverse the trend, Auser volunteer grandparents offer support to vulnerable parenting, especially in areas where services are scarce and educational and economic poverty compound.

GRANDPARENTS WHO HELP FAMILIES

The goal of this project, called " Community Grandparents " and involving four regions—Lombardy, Tuscany, Umbria, and Basilicata—is to help families in need by reaching over 1000 children. Promoted by Auser Lombardia and implemented as part of the call for proposals for early childhood, managed by the Fondazione con il Sud and managed by the social enterprise "Con i bambini ," it will last three years with expected funding exceeding €2.15 million.

GRANDPARENTS SUPPORT FAMILIES
